§1 OBLIGATIONS OF EMPLOYERS
The employer agrees to pay the corresponding placement fee to STAV e.V. upon hiring a student referred by STAV e.V. The amount of the placement fee for a successful placement is set forth in the table above. By confirming these terms and conditions, you agree to them.
§2 FEE REGULATIONS
The current fees are listed in the table above. As of April 29, 2025, the placement fee is 15%, with a minimum of €15.00 (including VAT), calculated based on the total gross earnings of the first 6 months (following the start of employment) of the person placed by STAV.
§3 COLLECTION OF FEES
Students will receive an invoice as proof of successful placement. The placement fee is charged once based on the total gross earnings for a maximum employment period of 6 months and is generally due upon receipt of the invoice. The employment period begins on the first day of work. The total gross earnings for the period of employment must be reported in writing to STAV e.V. immediately upon its termination or after a maximum of 6 months. It is irrelevant whether the students were assigned to the exact activities listed or to other tasks. If necessary, an extension of this deadline may be agreed upon. The statement of account must be properly completed by the employer. In particular, the hours worked and the amount of compensation must be entered without error. Upon request, proof of the total gross earnings (e.g., employment contract, pay stub, proof of fees) must be submitted to STAV e.V. If an employment relationship does not materialize, the reasons for this must be stated on the settlement form.
If employers fail to fulfill their reporting obligation by the deadline, STAV e.V. will charge a late fee of €5.00 per statement starting with the second reminder. Furthermore, we would like to point out that providing false information regarding the total gross earnings in order to reduce the amount of the placement commission constitutes a criminal offense under the German Criminal Code (StGB).
§4 EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP
The employment relationship is established between the workplace and the students. The pay stub does not constitute an employment contract. Responsibility for tax and labor law obligations is determined between the workplace and the students. STAV e.V. acts solely as an intermediary in this matter.
§5 LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF OFFERS
STAV e.V. accepts a maximum of three job postings per position. If a job posting is no longer valid due to the passage of time, a successful placement, or other reasons, a new one may be posted in its place.
§6 TERMINATION OF THE PLACEMENT
STAV e.V. reserves the right to completely cease placing students with employers who hire them and then assign them to other tasks with the aim of circumventing the placement fee (particularly staffing, temporary employment, and labor leasing agencies).
§7 EQUALITY CLAUSE
With reference to Sections 1 and 7(I) of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), we would like to point out that discrimination on the basis of ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual identity is prohibited in all job postings. STAV e.V. upholds this principle throughout the entire placement process and expects the same from the employers.
